The ancient Chinese astrologers worked with minuscule to no contact with those in the Greek world. This relative isolation means that we know the constellations in the Western world are unknown in Chinese astrology. They have a system totally own and use Chinese calendar for gender

  The astrologers of ancient China divided its sky in 31 sections or regions. The three sections that make up the north celestial pole are called the three campuses. The many stars in these regions were puede observed at all times during the venture. Each of the three campuses has a name and norms of a specific area of the night sky.

  The first is known as Appendix Appendix Purple Forbidden. This section rules of the northernmost area of the sky. In ancient China, this was the center of the sky.

  The following is the Supreme Appendix Palace, which lies to the east and north of the Forbidden Purple Appendix.

  Finally, the Supreme Palace commands Appendixand the area west and south.

  Twenty other eight regions are together referred to the twenty-eight Mansions. Taken together, these sections are contemplative of the movements of the moon in a lunar month. Each of the stars visible in the sky are delegated to a 283 asterisms. The name of a star is made by taking along the name of the asterism allocated and the number of the star.  These can also be referred to as the Chinese calendar for gender.

  The twenty-eight Mansions are grouped into what is recognized coas the four symbols. Each symbol has an equal number of mansions. These symbols are the blue of the Eastern Dragon, The Black Tortoise of the North, El Tigre Blanco West, and The Birds of South Vermillion.
